Same as earlier MBA or M tech .. now called for medicine or engineering... it depends person to person because of cost structure.. medicine course is costlier then that of engineering. But scope of both are good i feel like medicine is becoming more a business since a normal consultancy fees of doctors are now atleast rs 300. SO more money

it is the profession where one can save lots of life and help people come out of pain and stress....and its the profession which is considered to be godly by ages...

Engineering stream is better than medical because it has greater opportunities than medical
In medical admission is difficult & money require is more than engineering or other field of non medical.
With engineering you can go in any field automobile,textile,electrical,hardware,software also management

I think engineering is better than medicine because it provide large chance to get a good respected job and position.medicine is good but it does not provide a job as you like,this also true with engineering but chance is greater in engineering than medicine

I'll go with the second option, as personally, i just hate tearing out living creatures.

Atleast i can never go for it.

Medicine and engineering both are different fields .It does not depend on which is better but all what matter is you choice and interset because both are different in every aspect.

I believe that both engineers and doctors will always be there in demand as our society cannot function without any of them.
Medical field requires patience and time..
Engineering field is a 4 year course as compared to medical one which requires minimum of 5 years..
Engineers are placed in companies in final year itself..
But the feeling of saving a life or treating a patient successfully cannot be expressed in words..

Personally, i will go for the second option, that is engg.

Medicine is better in the case of serving society and poor people but the drawback is expenditure is very high in initial stages compared to Engineering. The same case is an exception for those who get selected on merit basis. As we know, the salaries of doctors are comparably high since they operate a human body under live condition whereas Engineers operate machines at rest. :-)

i got centum in maths,chemistry and 199 in phssics but iam a biology group student.so i didn't get confident to enter anna university not knowing anything about computerscience.

today;s world is techno crazy.

technology is spreading its wings throughout the universe,its reaches every nukand corner of the world.

everything from watch to satellites is due to technology,then why should' nt we choose engineering for career prospect.

It totally depends on the personal preference,interest and capabilities.On some point medicine is better while on other engineering is better,like Docters have more social respect than engineers,can live near their home,but longer duration of course and less money when compared with engineers.And engineers have wider chance to move abroad,easy placement,handsome salary package of same mental status stdents as of medical.

Engineering is better than medical it has more opportunity to study in good collages and many private collages are also there but in medical field there is lack of collages

According to me engineering is much better than medical.Because in today's time development is taking so fast in our and another country taht there is very high demand of engineeres of various field.So there is big opportunity in this field.But we can not ignore the medical line also.It's also play a very important part in our life.

i think engineering is better ......not because i myself am in it...
according to me medicine carrer is good only fr brilliant student.....
or an reserved caste student.its hell fr even a good gen student.
as d competitions hav limited seats and reservations add to havoc
if someone goes fr private cllg dere fees isso high dat limited can afford such fees
so enginering is kk
its not so tough and an average student can cope up.

medical is evergreen field if you become a expert.....engineering has some limited time period but medical is based on human life..... Even a engineer needs his life more than his professional so i'll say medical is best.....

medical is too much costly as well as it takes around 10 yeears to do mbbs+md+other specialisation and still there is no job security.
comparatively b.tech is lot less time and money consuming .

according to me medicine is better than engineering..
because its something we can help to save life ..we can go for research of the many unaware genetic defects.. every person is doing mba ...but every person cannot do medicine..

I think engineering is better option as compare to medical because fields which open after the engineering are in good number as compare to medical one more thing the number of seats which are available in engineering is good in number as compare to medical which are very few.

Money is good in both field.
At last it depands on the interest of student.

for those students who are interested in the field of pure science medicine is a good choice.
students who want to prove themselves in the field of mechanics and electronics can choose engineering.
but more competitions in both the fields can give a better outcome.

hIIIIIIIII i think both are two side of a coin because without one other is incomplete......if no technology no medicine and if no medicine there is no-one even to bother of technology.BOTH ARE BEST....

both the streams are excellent and if u wan to do well in the stream u select,u really need to have interest. select a field not based on how it is valued in the society,choose it according to your interest.

surely medical is a better because it saves humans life and destruct diseases

my view is engineering is better. Course of study is also 4 year only. Job can be obtained during studies if we selected on placement.

its true, engineering field is the only field in which one can find vast and variety of branches with very good scope,
advantages of being engineer
1.good salary
2.incremented salary with promotion
3.royal feeling
4.good infrastructure

disadvantages of being medical aspirant
1.lot of things to study and learn
2.not too big salary amount (if you are not a surgeon )

Both has a bright future,but the thing is what is your interst?
If you like physics , mathematices then going for engineering otherwise if you like biology then going for medical....
i suggest You that aprear JEE both section genaral and medical after that deside what could be done...

Engineering because less competition for getting admission than medicine, more job opportunities and a good career in shorter education time than Medicine.

Hey it depends upon the personal interest.

Since i was interested towards the engineering stream i voted for engineering side.
Both the streams are good but you have to choose your own path.

I feel that Medical would be the right choice.

Anyway if the student takes or chooses the course of his own interest, that would be beneficial for him.

The reason why i am showing interest to medical is it saves the life of an individual. What ever we have to do, the basic thing required is we have to be alive.

Some times you may not have good health. In that condition, only medical people are going to save your life. Such an importance is there for them.

According to me engineering is better than medical. medical takes more time to complete and is concidered abit tough to study. also here opportunities are limited. if you want to do something better in this field then you will have to go in AIIMS or some state approved authorities ,which is really difficult. also you always feel insecure in this field. on the other hand you can easily complete engineering and get job. you just need to obtain good marks in your b.tech.

I think engineering is better than medical.one has to study alot to be a good doctor and it takes too much time medical profession has high risk for your health and wealth

For an average student engineering is much better than medical as it ensures job guarentee. medical is abit tough and risky as well.it takes much time to complete and opportunities are very limited.

its not the question of only medicine or engineering there are many other streams like arts,commerce administration ,technical fields and news print media and many more

sticking to either engineering or medicine is not good for you and also for country

there are huge no. of engineers are being produced every year which are becoming useless due to the lack of subject of the student due to his lack of interest

finally what i want to say is all depends on the interest of the student proper guidance should be provided by parents they should not decide their wards future with lack of knowledge

which ultimately suffered by the student so the main thing is to left on the interest of the student

medicine field is not all about doctors only there are many sectors like engineering fields but in case of engineering nearly each field is green and offering many challenging and good jobs whereas in case of medicine line there are not so much groom in india that each medicine student is able to get job . thats why i have voted for engineering.

i think engineering is a better option because in India being from medical is not so easy we don't have enough colleges and have great competition ....
engineering colleges are many and one can take admission easily

Looking at all the point and circumstances i must say- engineering is much much better than medical. medical takes more time to complete and you always feel insecurity while working .on the other hand engineering takes less time and you can easily get job.

according to my mind engineering is better.
it is a source to win the world and your felling you are completely ready to face all the problems coming in life .

engineering provides the facilities, comfort & requirements for humans where as medical provides about the safety of human life . the human life without the facilities provided to him is nothing. and provided the facilities the existence of human life on this earth.
So, both will come into co-existence. cannot mention more than one another.

if u want settle fast in your life then go for engineering and if u want much more success but slowly then go for medical it all depends on personal choice

Choose what you wish to. Both are good options. We cannot compare between them.
Both are necessary for us- health and technology.
It depends on our interest what we choose.

based up on the current education system.. medicine is better than engg. because many students are preferrinng engineering to get the software jobs..and there is heavy competition. if u choose engineering u must choose the categories based up on the vacancies available but not on the demand..
for eg. engg in geography have many vacancies at present... we couldn't make sure about the situation.. if u choose medicine.. even though u didn't become a doctor u will have ways to live with ur education like b.pharmc ...

friends if you want to choose best field try that where you is no tension and pressure.....

see my friend today india is developing so in every field there is inflation. In engineering every year through aieee exams 70-80 lakh students assemble for the exam. Failure of which some students commit suicide also. So follow that field where there is less inflation. Doing medical is good because you can own a shop or a distributor, pharmaceuticals also which will be owned by yourself. But in engineering one needs to get qualified & then get to there job after searching.

I think both are good for career but it is dependend on your choice,if you are interested in MATH,PHYSICS then go for engineering otherwise i will suggest you for Medical...

It depends upon d intrest of d individual person.I m myself into Engineering coz i liked subjects like maths & physics more dan biology. If d person is intrested in knowing about technology & Machines den dey shld opt 4 engineering & if dey love to know more about plants, animals & other living creatures den 4 sure dey shld opt 4 Medicine.Its upon der personal choice & interst.
Bt i wld like 2 mention tht medicines as an carier will require more time 2 flourish den Engineering coz Engineering offers a very gud job oppurtunity in India .
