Hi everyone, I want to get admission in NIT Durgapur for the course of MTech(Fluids Engineering). Please tell me what is the procedure for admission of this course in this institute? Please tell me asap.

For admission in MTech in NIT Durgapur, eligibility is bachelor's degree in the relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 55% (BTECH/BE in chemical engineering or MSc with chemistry).

Candidates have to fill the application form with all details and attaching the documents, under the admission section of the college's official website and make the payment there itself.

Candidates must appear for GATE exams.

Candidates have to register at e-centralized counselling center, i.e, CCMT after qualifying for GATE.

Students are selected on the basis of their score obtained in GATE.

After that, the institute conducts a written test and viva-voce.

The weight-age of admission is 30% on GATE score, 30% on written test and 40% on viva-voce.
