Is it allowed to appear in M.Sc. (mathematics) from Rajasthan University as a private or non collegiate student?
i am a b.sc. graduate from mds university ajmer. i want to do m.sc. mathematics from rajasthan university but unable to go to college regularly. is it allowed to appear for me as a private or non collegiate student?

YES, it is definitely possible to join the post graduation course in mathematics privately and for that you should have completed your graduation in the same subject with around 55% of marks and 5% relaxation in percentage is provided to reserved category students.
Students who have passed their last qualifying exam in 2018 or before that will not be eligible for admission. A candidate passing the first year/second year/part 1/part 2 examination of the course of study as a non-collegiate candidate shall not be eligible for admission the next higher class in college however, the candidate passing the previous examination of a course of study as a non collegiate candidate may be considered for admission to the next higher class of the same course of study if seats are available. °°° Of course, it is allowed to appear in MSc mathematics from Rajasthan University as collegiate student.
Admission of non - collegiate student- A candidate passing the first year/second year/part 1/ part 2 examination of a course of study as a non Collegiate candidate shall not be eligible for admission to the next higher class in college however, a candidate passing the previous examination of a course of study as in non Collegiate candidate may be considered for admission to the next higher class of the same course of study seats are available. A candidate who has passed the first year slash part 1 examination as a regular student and the second year as a known collegiate candidate shall also be eligible to take admission to the final year of the same course as a regular student if he or she has obtained a minimum 50% marks. °°° For more information you can visit the official website http://uniraj.ac.in |
