Can I do masters in (microbiology/neuroscience/biotechnology) after doing my graduation with BSc general?


sir,i am doing BSc gen with botany,zoology,physiology..this is my final year..can i do MSc in(zoology/physiology/microbiology/neuroscience/biotechnology) after completing my graduation? Which are the possible subjects i can do masters? What will be the percentage needed? pls reply..

Yes a candidate is eligible for the course after their bachelor's degree.

Those who have completed their bachelor's degree with atleast 60% marks from a recognised board are eligible for admission.

Admission is granted on merit basis as well as entrance exam basis.

To do MSc in Zoology/Physiology/Microbiology/Neuroscience/Biotechnology the minimum qualification required is given below. Admission selection is done on the basis of entrance tests and this may vary from college to college.

MSc in Zoology - A candidate must have passed BSc/BSc Honours in Zoology or allied medical sciences/biosciences/life sciences from a recognized university.

MSc in Physiology - A candidate must have passed MBBS/BDS/BSc in Allied Heath Sciences/Emergency and Trauma Care Technology/Zoology/Nutrition and other paramedical courses from a recognized university.

MSc in Microbiology - A candidate must have passed BSc degree in Biology/Biotechnology/BPharma/BSc Microbiology/BVSc/BPT/BSc Food Science Technology/BSc Nursing/BMIT from a recognized university.

MSc in Neuroscience - A candidate must have passed BSc Allied Health Sciences/Botany/Chemistry/BUMS/Biochemistry as main or Ancillary, BSc in Life Sciences/BioScience, Biology, Physics, BSMS, BAMS, BHMS, BSc Nursing, BSc Physician Assistant, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Zoology from a recognized university.

MSc in Biotechnology - A candidate must have passed a BSc degree in Biotechnology/Biology/Food Science/Microbiology/Nursing or BPharma/BPT/BMIT from a recognized university.

The eligibility to apply for the course is a minimum of 50% aggregate in a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college/university.

The entrance exam is conducted to check the abilities of students. The minimum age limit is 20 years.
