I have completed my PGDRD from IGNOU. l want to get a job in government sector. Is this possible, if yes, then which post would be recommended to me. Please tell me.

Those candidates who have completed his/her graduation from a recognized university are eligible to write various governments exams. You have completed PGDRD from IGNOU you can apply for the post of sugar analyst, marketing and sales manager for fruits and vegetables, territory in-charge, research head, agronomist, area executive, etc. You need to check employment newspaper on a regular basis for the vacancies of the above mentioned posts and exams.

Since IGNOU is approved by AICTE, UGC, AIU, UNESCO, so its degree is equally valuable to the degree from other recognized boards.
Hence you can get job in government sector after PGDRD(Post graduation diploma in Rural Department) from IGNOU.
There are so many jobs available for a graduate in government sectors.
Being a graduate you can apply for UPSC, SSC, Railways recruitment board, Banks clerk, NICL, etc.

Most of the government jobs in India ask for just graduation and PG level diploma doesn't have much value. Only masters degree can be useful, if you are looking for a lecturer job.

Hence, PGDRD related government jobs are not much. You can apply on the basis of graduation for government job exams in India.

Yes, you can get jobs in government sector after completion of PGDRD course from IGNOU.

Because IGNOU is recognized by UGC.
