The Course structure of MCh(Plastic Surgery) in Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College includes the repairing, reconstructing and addressing abnormalities in the functions and look of the skin, muscles, skeletal system and internal parts.

First Year

=)Anatomy and functions of skin
=)History of Plastic Surgery and its broad scope at the present time
=)Pedicled skin flaps and tubes
=)Care of wounds, dressing, techniques and splints.
=)Congenital deformities of face and jaw bone.


Second Year

=)Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies
=)Regional anatomy of head and neck.
=)Orthodontics, speech therapy in cleft lip and palate.
=)Rare craniofacial clefts, Tessier clefts.
=)Principles of craniofacial surgery


Third Year
=)Dupuytren’s disease.
=)Reconstruction of burn hand and upper extremity.
=)Chemical peeling and dermabrasion
=)Surgery for spastic and tetraplegic hand
=)Chemical peeling and dermabrasion
=)Reconstruction of full thickness defects of the abdomen and thorax

The Fees per annum is Rs. 2,50,000 of MCh(Plastic Surgery) in Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College.
