Yes,you can prepare for CAT exam if you are a student of Open University.
The eligibility criteria for CAT exam is, you must have a graduation degree with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university. And there is no age restriction for this exam. |

CAT is Common Admission Test. The examination is conducted for admission in MBA course.
The eligibility to pursue the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 50% aggregate. So, if you have passed from a recognised university than eligible to appear for the examination. |

Yes, distance degree is valid if obtained from a recognised university.
So, you can appear for the CAT examination after bachelor degree from a recognised university. There is no upper age limit to apply for the examination. You will become eligible to get admission in MBA course after qualifying in CAT. |

CAT eligibility criteria include not only regular degree students, but also students of distance or correspondence background.
Distance / correspondence degree students with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university or institution are eligible to apply for CAT. |
