Yes,you can prepare for CAT exam if you are a student of Open University.

The eligibility criteria for CAT exam is, you must have a graduation degree with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

And there is no age restriction for this exam.

CAT is Common Admission Test. The examination is conducted for admission in MBA course.

The eligibility to pursue the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 50% aggregate. So, if you have passed from a recognised university than eligible to appear for the examination.

Yes, distance degree is valid if obtained from a recognised university.

So, you can appear for the CAT examination after bachelor degree from a recognised university. There is no upper age limit to apply for the examination.

You will become eligible to get admission in MBA course after qualifying in CAT.

CAT eligibility criteria include not only regular degree students, but also students of distance or correspondence background.

Distance / correspondence degree students with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university or institution are eligible to apply for CAT.
