Re: Criteria for appearing for CAT exam?
A graduate in any stream can appear for the exam. This is provided that the candidate has passed the course from a recognised institute. A minimum of 50% in graduation is a must for applying for the course. Those who are in the final year can also apply. There is a condition that at the time of joining they need to have completed the course.

Re: Criteria for appearing for CAT exam?
CAT is Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs for admission into MBA course.
IIMs and most of the top MBA colleges prefer CAT score for giving admission into MBA program. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks is the required qualification for CAT. Those who belong to reserved category will get relaxation of 5% marks and they need only 45% marks to appear for CAT. Exam Pattern: CAT is an online test and you have to answer objective type questions in the paper. The questions will be from following topics. -Data Interpretation -Quantitative Ability -Verbal Ability -Logical Reasoning There will be negative mark for every wrong answer means you should attempt only those questions on which you have confidence otherwise you will lose marks. The exam is divided into 2 sessions and seperate timings will be alloted to both sessions. You have to answer the questions in the given time for each session.
