I want to secure admission to Maharashtra Institute of Technology for studying ME(Heat Power). I would like to know about the entrance exam through which I can get admission for this course in this institute. Please tell me about the cutoff rank for getting admission.

For admission to Mtech course, a candidate should have done Bachelor degree in Engineering /Technology.

Admission will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education through centralised admission process ( CAP) or Institute level admission.

DTE, Maharashtra will invite applications coma prepare a merit list and candidates will be required to appear for CAP and document verification as per the schedule provided on the official website.

The institute also invites applications from candidates for ILA and vacancies declared after CAP.

Admission can be done through GATE examination or without GATE examination.
