Entrance exams to study MTech(Electrical Engineering) in IIT Roorkee? Cutoff marks required to secure admission?
Respected Sir/Madam, I am interested in studying MTech(Electrical Engineering) course from IIT Roorkee? I would like to know about the entrance exams through which I can study this course in this institute. Kindly tell me about the cutoff marks also for securing admission.

Yes, Entrance examination is available to study MTech in Electrical Engineering at IIT Roorkee. Admission selection will be done on the basis of COAP Registration followed by personal interview at IITR and the entrance examination required is GATE. The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates appearing for the test.
The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed BE/BTech in the relevant field with a minimum score of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. I am also giving you the institute website link for your reference that is www.iitr.ac.in |

Entrance exams to study MTech(Electrical Engineering) in IIT Roorkee is as follows.
Admission will be done through GATE examination only. Applicant has to go through GATE counselling procedure to secure admission. Last year cutoff Rank for Electrical Engineering was 744. |
