Hi all,
I have just left with 30 days for GATE.
Please advice me how can I get prepared
for it and what is the syllabus for GATE?

GATE exam is very tough but it can be crack by doing proper hard work.

Following are preparation tips for GATE exam:

Decide you goal, in which college do you want admission for higher studies.Once you decide you this it will be easier for you to know the required marks for getting admission into such institutes.

Get Hard copy of Gate Syllabus for your particular subject.

You will notice there are some topics on which you can expect more number of question and there by good marks.

Try to identify such topics and start your preparation accordingly

It is always advisable that you should not use your reference or text books for graduate studies. It contains more content than required GATE exam resulting confusion.

Try to buy some standard books which are meant for GATE.

Make time table for Gate

Get all previous year question paper with solutions

Preparation tips for GATE before one month exam:

Try to start from easy topics

Get previous year question paper and solve them, understating the concept behind each question

Make use of short notes or ready made notes

Avoid other things, expect study

Start from easy subjects and complete each subject in either two or three days

Do not download and try to study from online notes or soft copies

Don't try on new subjects or new concepts in revision period.

You should not think about preparation in 30 days.
It is an impossible task.You will have to devote at least 1 year then you will have a chance to crack the GATE Examination.
So just stop thinking about the 30 day shortcut.
I will only be able to say you the syllabus if you mention the department that you belong to.
The syllabus varies from every department so you will have to mention your department then only the syllabus can be provided.
