Are Jains also considered under Minority? Will Jains get reservation in GATE as well?
Hello Sir ,
I am a Jain Girl and i will be appearing in gate 2015 .I want to know as per govt rule which is passed just know that jain's are also consider under minority .So i there any reservation which i can get in next gate 2015 ??? |

Minorities don't get any reservation benefits in GATE. Only candidates who belong to SC/ST, OBC, PWD category get benefit of reservation. If you are a Jain candidates, then make sure you have any of the caste certificate to get the reservation benefit.
In Indian most of the Jain people are considered under General category and they don't get any sort of reservation benefit. |
