Mohammed Haji Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai
The Mohammed Haji Saboo Siddik College of Engineering in Mumbai is also known as the M.H. Saboo Siddik Engineering College. The institute is a Muslim minority Institute. The institute was established in the year 1936. Initially it was a trade school but now it offers technical as well as management education. It is approved by the AICTE.
Campus
The campus of the college is a huge one. There are almost all the facilities that should be there in an engineering institute. With well equipped laboratories and air conditioned ones and seminar halls, the institute provides a perfect environment to conduct studies. There are a total of 8 laboratories. There are also hostel facilities for the students. The library of the college has a host of books.
Courses Offered
There are basically six different disciplines in the institute. They are Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology Engineering. There is also Diploma in Engineering, Trade and ITI courses.
Admission Procedure
The admission to the college is made on the basis of merit in the entrance test. Since this is a minority institute there are other reservation criteria that are followed. The admission form has to fill up and then submitted in order to get admitted to the institute.
Placements
The institute holds a very good placement record of placing the students in the best companies. There is a placement cell that is always working to get the companies on campus to recruit the students. MNC’s visit the campus and then interview students and recruit them.
