I secured AIR: 2240, gate score:570 and percentile:98.58 in GATE - CS branch.. Which are the colleges in which i can apply and is there any chance to hit any of the IITs?

No. It is not possible to get admission to IITs having low GATE scores. Because the IITs always have a high cutoff rank. So, you can get admission to another college having this score.

When it comes to the GATE , it's not fixed.
It depends on the individual Institute and their GATE cutoff marks.
The students must score a GATE rank upto or below 200 , moreover students can also get seat into IIT/NIT if the rank is around 600 to 800.
Score range of 500 to 600 can be considered good in GATE exam
