I am planning to do MCh(Paediatric Surgery) course which is available in Madras Medical College. Can I know about the educational qualification which is essentially required to get admission for this course in this college?

The qualification required to study MCh in Paediatric Surgery at Madras Medical College is given below.

==> Candidate must have done an MD in the relevant field with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a university recognized by Medical Council of India.

==> Admission will be done on the basis of entrance examination which is conducted by the Directoorate of Medical Education, Chennai.

==> Selection will be done on the basis of two merit lists - one is an Open merit list and second would be Service Merit list. These merit list will be calculated the marks obtained in the entrance examination plus work experience like from 100 marks 90 in entrance and 10 in work experience.

Qualification required to get MCh(Paediatric Surgery) admission in Madras Medical College is that you must have passed medical postgraduate (MS/MD) degree from relevant disciplines recognized by the MCI.
Duration of MCh(Paediatric Surgery) is full time 3 years.
