After completing BSc Nursing you can join the Military Nursing Service depending on the available vacancies. Graduates can join Armed Forces Medical Services as Short Service Commissioned Nursing Officers or Permanent Service Commissioned Nursing Officers.
The basic eligibility to apply for the Military Nursing Service is a candidate must have done a BSc in Nursing in the first attempt itself from a recognized university. Applicant should be an Indian citizen and Military Service Nursing is open for female candidates only. The minimum age limit to apply is 21 years and the maximum age limit to apply is 35 years. Selection to MNS will depend upon the number of vacancies and the candidates who qualify for the written test followed by an interview round. |
