There are several branches or specializations under Civil engg although not all are available under one college for M.Tech.
IIT Roorkee provides the most number of seats and disciplines for M.Tech under Civil Dept than any other IIT or IISc as it was started as the College of Civil Engg under British Rule and later converted to IIT.
You will get the specializations mostly upon your GATE rank.
Following are some of the major specializations for M.Tech after Civil engineering:
Structural engineering
GeoTechnical engg
Hydraulics
Irrigation and Water Resource
Transportation
Highway
Environmental engg
Infrastructure development
Construction Technology

Alongwith these, IISc Bangalore has Aerospace Engg M.Tech also for Civil engg and other disciplines as well but the seats are very very less in number. And all these courses are not available under same IIT. Choose as per your satisfaction and also rankings
