hello, I got 1184 all India rank and 381 score in Gate and i want to know about the GATE counselling dates...

and also am not sure whether my rank is good enough so i want to know about that also....

GATE result 2022 date was 17th March 2022. GATE counseling is not a centralized process and it will be conducted through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and Centralised Counseling(CCMT) for MTech/MDes. GATE COAP 2022 will be conducted for admissions to IITs on the basis of GATE scores. Candidates will have to register at the COAP portal. However, IITs will release their individual application forms which candidates will have to fill and submit before the last date.

CCMT is for admission to MTech courses offered by NITs, IITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs. State and private universities will conduct their own counseling based on GATE 2022 result. GATE 2022 counseling COAP dates is given below.

Round I - 20th May 2022 to 22nd May 2022
Round II - 27th May 2022 to 29th May 2022
Round III - 3rd June 2022 to 5th June 2022
Round IV - 10th June 2022 to 12th June 2022
Round V - 17th June 2022 to 19th June 2022

Additional Rounds Dates are given below.

Round A - 24th June 2022 to 25th June 2022
Round B - 30th June 2022 to 1st July 2022
Round C - 6th July 2022 to 7th July 2022
Round D - 12th July 2022 to 13th July 2022
Round E - 18th July 2022 to 19th July 2022

Pre-registration for GATE CCMT 2022 counseling has been started in May 2022. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a nationwide test. The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, is under the supervision of this test.

--- Candidates who qualify GATE have to apply for COAP for IIT MTech admission and in CCMT for NIT MTech admission.
Common offer acceptance portal and centralised counselling for MTech conducts the GATE 2022 counselling.
Then the candidates will be able to access the list of offers from the institutes where they applied through COAP on the portal. This will allow the candidates to check their options in one place and make their decision.
