Salary pay scale of the clerk in both private as well as in government banks will be changed time to time according to rules of government.

Here is brief detail about the pay scale of clerk in bank :

** Places of more than 45 lakhs

Basic Pay 7200.00
Dearness Allowance 6922.80
HRA – 10 720.00
Total Salary (including HRA )14842.80


** Places of more than 12 lakhs

Basic Pay 7200.00
Dearness Allowance 6922.80
HRA -9% 648.00
Total Salary (including HRA )14770.80


** Places of more than 5 lakh and above, State Capitals/UT etc

Basic Pay 7200.00
Dearness Allowance 6922.80
HRA - 7.5% 540.00
Total Salary (including HRA ) 14662.80


** Other Places

Basic Pay 7200.00
Dearness Allowance 6922.80
HRA -7% 504.00

Pay scale for Government bank for Clerical post:-

Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 Rs.5200 - 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900 (for LDC) / Rs.2400 (for UDC).

Pay scale for Private bank for Clerical post:-

Pay Scale: 7200–400/3 – 8400–500/3 – 9900–600/4 – 12300–700/7 – 17200-1300/1 – 18500-800/1 – 19300

Pay Scale for Clerks in Private Banks and Government Banks:

@@ Pay Scale for Clerks in Private Banks: Rs.14500-Rs.16000/- per months (Basic Pay + DA + HRA + Some other Allowances)

@@ Pay Scale for Clerks in Public Sector Banks: Around Rs.18,550/- per months (revised as on 1st June 2015)

* DA - Around 4000/- per month
* Special Allowance - 920.49/- per month

* Transport Allowance - Around Rs.500/- per month
