Who was the first Indian cricket team wicketkeeper & when he win first world cup?

India became a full member of the Imperial Cricket Conference on 31 May 1926.The Indian Team was first led by Colonel C. k. Nayudu against England at the Lord's. They played only seven tests, which were all against England, before Second World War, losing five matches & drawing twice.

Janardan Navle was the first WicketKeeper from 1932-1933.

It was on June 25,1983,when India lifted their first ever Cricket World title, defeating West Indies in the finals by 43 runs at the Lord's Cricket Ground. It is now 37 years to India's triumph in the tournament.

The WorldCup-winning team was led by all-rounder Kapil Dev.
India's World Cup final playing XI included Sunil Gavaskar, K Srikkanth, Mohinder Amarnath, Yashpal Sharma, SM Patil, Dev(c) , Kriti Azad, Roger Binny, Madan Lal, Syed Kirmani and Balwinder Sandhu.

The first Indian cricket team Captain was Cottari Kanakaiya Nayudu (1932-1934). C K Nayudu was a right-hand batsman and right-arm medium bowler. He made his first-class debut in 1916 in the Bombay Triangular and played a total of 207 first-class matches. He made his test debut on 25th June 1932 against England where he was the first captain of the Indian Cricket Team. He played 7 test matches where he was the captain for all the seven test matches.
