hi sir my name is saurabh kapoor i belongs to commerce with maths backgroud presently i am doing bca from ip university i want to join indian army as the post of captian is i am eligible for that please reply fast waiting desperatly

Sorry, you are not eligible to join the Indian Army directly as a Captain. But you are eligible to join the Army as an officer after the BCA.

The candidates have to qualify in the CDS examination conducted by the UPSC twice every for the final selection as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army after selection in the written and the SSB test procedure.

The CDS examination is conducted twice every year in the month of February and September. The candidates after qualifying in the written are eligible for the SSB. The eligibility criteria to appear for the Army wing is :-
* Candidate must have passed the graduation in any discipline.
* Candidate age must be between 19- 24 years.
