Anna University is a popular and renowned institute in Tamil Nadu, and offers courses like Engineering and Technology, and Applied Sciences. A constitution of 225 Private colleges, and six government colleges, along with 3 government aided colleges, the university offers these courses in a semester pattern generally comprising of 8 semesters for a 4 year course, and 6 semesters for a three year course. The fifth semester paper of Anna University Electronics and Communication Engineering papers are the following ones viz, Antenna and Wave Propagation, Micro-Electronics, Information Theory and Coding, Linear IC Applications, Computer Hardware Design, Microprocessors (Pr), Microprocessors & Interfacing, Linear Integrated Circuits(Pr) and Training Report. The total marks for the exam is 100 marks, 50 marks of it is dedicated to the internal assessment by the college, and the rest 50 marks are to be obtained by an examination of three hours containing four units, and students need to attempt any 5 questions.
