Calicut University is amongst the foremost oldest universities in Kerala and was founded for the betterment of the status of education in that state. The university began its journey with only four postgraduates departments and now it offers huge number of courses to the students. Mechanical Engineering is amongst the highly demanded course under this university. Students in huge numbers are registering themselves for these types of courses. The Mechanics of Machinery is one of the papers included in the syllabus of 5th semester of the course mechanical engineering. The Paper consists of a total of 100 marks.
