The GATE Architecture and planning paper is to be written in three hours. The paper carries a total of 100 marks allotted to the 60 questions in the paper. The first twenty questions in the paper carry one mark each while the remaining ones carry two marks each. All the questions in the paper are from the syllabus itself. There is negative marking on the paper for each incorrect response that the candidate gives. The paper is mainly a speed and accuracy test.
