Gate electronics and communication examination is to be taken by engineering aspirants who want to get them enrolled in the premiere institutions of the country for M. Tech. The duration of the examination is three hours excluding the time meant for filling up the registration number and other details. The examination is purely objective. There are a total of 65 questions. Each question has four choices but there is only one right answer. Questions from 1 to 25 carry 1 mark, 26 to 55 carry 2 marks, 56 to 65 carry one mark. The negative mark for wrong answer is 1/3 of the mark allotted for the right answer for a particular question. The answers are to be filled in OMR sheet.
