The study of VLSI Design combines different modules of analytical understanding in the matters of integration of chip. There might be theoretical and application approach to this study through an understanding of analysis of design, implementation of design and designing of the integration of chip. Some of the main topics covered in this course are different rules that are to be used while developing UDPs, various behavioral timing control constraints available in verilog, architecture of Spartan 3e FPGA family, times when race condition occurs in verilog, race condition in verilog and ways to eliminate race condition in verilog, explanation in detail of different kinds of operator types in verilog, comparison of tasks and functions, explanation of delay- based timing control in verilog along with examples, difference between SRAM and antifuse, functions of digital clock managers with regards to spartan 3e, writing of verilog program for full subtractor in structural modelling, etc.
