Gujarat Technological University, Biomedical Engineering, Digital Logic Design Papers
During 3rd semester of biomedical engineering, students of Gujarat Technological University have to answer Digital Logic design paper. The paper is totally descriptive and requires the candidate to know the theoretical concepts properly and should have the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications in order to answer the paper well.
Paper pattern
There are totally five questions in the paper. The candidates are required to answer all the questions in the paper. There are no sections in the question paper. Each question consists of two sub questions. The question paper is totally descriptive. Few questions require to be answered by presenting diagrams. As per the instructions on the question paper, the candidates can make assumptions when answering questions, if required. In such a case, the candidates have to mention the assumption that they have made in the answer sheet. There are no sections in the question paper.
Allotment of marks
The paper is for a total of 70 marks. Each question is allotted 14 marks and each sub question carries 7 marks. The candidate is required to answer all the five questions.
Duration of paper
Two and a half hour is allotted for answering the question paper. Before the start of the exam, the candidates will be provided fifteen minutes for reading the question paper and for clarifying doubts regarding the question paper, if any.
About the subject
The subject mainly is based on logic circuits and number system that are related to computers. The questions regarding number systems need to be solved with a brisk pace and it will be easy for you solve them if you consistently practice. Referring previous question papers will give you an insight about the pattern of the question paper.
