CBSE Class 12 Management Of Bank Office Papers are designed to test the student’s knowledge of the basics of banking and the operation of a bank. The paper doesn’t have any choices. Questions from 1 to 5 are descriptive ones, but you should wrap up your answer in 150 words. Questions from 6 to 9 should be written in 70 words and the rest questions in 30 words. Topics from which questions are expected include the process of hiring a locker and why lockers are significant, the role and responsibility of the bank in ensuring the safety of the valuables contained in the locker or the safe deposit vault, what is known as incoming mail and how the bank can sort through the same, the need for technology in maintaining bank records and in daily operations, the role and nature of the six different functions provided by banks, the differences between privatised and nationalised banks, what is meant by the Teller system, how bank properties across the country are to be protected and so on. The questions are of the long answer variety which requires structured answering and practice.
