The IETE DIPIETE-ET/CS (New Scheme) Fundamentals of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Papers are prepared keeping in mind that the candidates taking the exam are future aspirants of engineering. Thus the first and foremost thing that it aims to test is the basic concepts of the candidates about electricity and electrical circuits. There are several questions based on the basic laws of charge, electricity and electrical circuits. The questions are multiple choices based and are thus quite easy. Then there are questions based A.C. and D.C. motors and other such extremely important equipments. There are also questions on the rectifier circuits and the transistors of the various kinds. However beyond this there are also questions on the working principles of the various electronic as well as the electrical instruments. There are numerical questions also where the various electrical circuits are supposed to be solved based on the various theorems and principle.
