The nautical science Cargo Handling, Stowage and Seamanship-I has to be attempted by the students of IGNOU at the end of the term to get promoted to the next year. The question paper consists of two sections and the questions include numerical calculations too. The questions often cover the entire syllabus and to ensure success it is important that you practice using previous year question papers as well as by taking mock tests. You also have to practice drawing since there will be question for sketching various parts of ships and other things related to the course. The exam is for 2 hours.
