This paper combining nautical physics and chemistry is a two hour paper divided into three sections. The time limit of two hours is adequate. Rough sheet is provided to do additional work. Calculators and tables are permitted during the exam. There is no negative marking on the paper. The syllabus of the paper is laid down by IGNOU at the beginning of the year. All questions are covered in the syllabus. You need to be able to answer all the questions in the given time period. A better idea of the nature of questions can be sought from last years’ papers.
