Fundamentals of Information Communication Technologies is very much necessary for Library and Information Science course as it teaches you how information communication is helpful in library management. Some of the topics covered are objectives of library and information network and services provided by them, stages of evolution of computers and features of each generation of computers, various storage technologies like electronic storage, optical storage etc. and their features, multimedia technology and many more. The paper is of 100 marks and students would have to answer 5 questions, each of 20 marks. The paper contains 4 long answer type questions and one short note questions in which 3-4 short notes are to be written in about 300 words.
