Master of library is a very much in demand, this course helps a candidate to learn the purpose of library management and the system of a library. The library is a significance of excellence for any institution and organization.

Paper Pattern:

All questions in the paper are of long answer type. The questions asked in the paper are of descriptive type. Total questions asked in the paper are 5 and first 4 questions are of long answer type and last question is of short notes.  1st 4 questions contains alternative of it and in short notes, 3 out of 5 are to be attempted. Answers should be accompanied with illustrated examples and diagrams if necessary. Short notes are to be answered in 300 words.

Each question in the paper is of equal marks. Questions asked are such as definition of information, concept of information, Sociology of Science, Bradford’s law of scattering, application of Scientometrics, Gross’s and Brown’s method of periodicals, meaning of scientific productivity, informativeness and its properties, Libra metrics, Multicollinearity etc. All questions asked are of long answer type and each question is needed to be solved in suitable word limits.

Total marks and time allotted:

Maximum marks which can be awarded in this paper are 100 and time allotted for this purpose is 3 hours. Each question in the paper is of 20 marks. Short notes in the paper are of 7.33 marks each.
