Indian Statistical Institute M.Tech (QROR) Papers are divided in to two main categories. These are objective type questions and short answer type questions. The objective type questions are all together 75 in number. The questions are asked from the categories like algebra, Co-ordinate geometry, and calculus. On the other hand, the short answer type questions are further divided in to two parts. Part I and part II. Part I has questions for statistical and mathematical graduates, and the Part II is for the engineers. Depending on the background, one will have to appear in their respective papers.
