If one needs to do JRF in Biological Anthropology, Indian Statistical Institute is a good choice. The candidate must possess good academic score with M.Sc. in Anthropology, specialization in Molecular genetics/ Human Genetics/ Medial genetics/ Biological / Physical Anthropology. Interviews taken by the institutes, academic record and Written Tests are analyzed for picking candidates. Two tests are taken. Both the tests have duration of two hours and carry hundred marks. In the first test six out of ten questions are to be written. The next test has three sections and each section has some options. Two years of good performance is the criteria to assess for SRF.
