SSLC, conducted by Karnataka State Board, offers three subjects as second language and a student needs to choose one. One of them is Alternative English Paper.The paper is of hundred marks. The paper has twelve sections containing fifty two questions. The first section is a fifteen mark multiple choice section in which questions are there from both literature and language.After this there are five grammatical fill in the blank questions. Next questions are there from prose and poetry. Next there is a letter writing question of five marks. Then two paragraphs of five and four mark are to be written. At last there is comprehension.
