Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board was incepted in 1966 and has been guiding students towards their career. Hindi is one of the subjects offered to students in Karnataka Secondary Education Examination for third language. There are 10 sections in the paper. All the questions in the paper are compulsory. The duration of the paper is of 3 hours. The maximum mark of the paper is 100. Section 1, 2, 3 and 4 contain questions of 1 mark each. Section 5, 6 and 7 contains 2 marks, 3 marks and 4 marks questions respectively. Section 8 has 2 marks questions. Section 9 and 10 contains 5 marks question.
