Tamil Nadu SSLC is a Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination for the Tamil Nadu board. This is same like standard 10. The exam has two papers for English subject, English Paper I and English Paper II. Both the paper carries equal marks. The maximum marks are 100 and the time duration to complete the paper is two and half hour. The English Paper II has 4 sections in it. Section A has questions from the reading, Section B has questions of writing, Section C has questions on grammar and Section D has questions on translation where student needs to translate into his first language.
