The full marks of the paper are 80, there are 5 questions carrying 16 marks each, and all questions are compulsory. The paper clearly states that answers have to be supported with examples from relevant statutory provisions and case laws. The questions have internal choices. Some of the questions from the paper are: examine the constitutional provisions relating to settlement of interstate dispute concerning natural resources, discuss the impact of grant of special status to certain states and regions on national integration, explain what is meant by affirmative action, critically evaluate political empowerment of women as a constitutional obligation, examine the effect of commercialisation of education on the scope and content of right to education, discuss the emerging concept of new rights and remedies in the harmonious construction of directive principles, fundamental duties and fundamental rights, examine the challenges to freedom of expression in the light of scientific development, and whether the restrictions under article 19(2) may suffice to meet the demands of technological developments.
