Kuvempu University B. Sc Mathematics Paper- II of second year covers the topics like degree of equations, differential equations, Rolle’s and Lagrange’s theorem, sequence and series, permutation and many other aspects which are related to these topics.

Sections:

This paper is divided into four sections as Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D.

Time and marks:

The time duration allotted for solving this paper is of three hours with a total mark of 90 for this paper.

Paper Pattern:

The question paper contains a total of 8 questions in this paper. The questions of this paper are subjective type. The questions of this paper are distributed amongst the four sections of the paper. The sections are namely Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D. Each section of the paper contains a maximum of two questions. Only six questions are to be attempted from the eight questions of the paper. One question is compulsory to be attempted from each section of the paper. The maximum mark for each question of the paper is 15. The questions are equally distributed over the entire syllabus. The total mark to be awarded in this paper is 90. There is no negative marking scheme in this paper.
