The Act of Bihar Government established Nalanda Open Universityand is even recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU, MaidanGarhi, New Delhi since 1997. It offers both graduation and post-graduation courses, all of which are available as full time, part time or one can even opt for distant learning programme. There are eight papers in BCA Part III and instead of theory questions, computer application based questions are asked. Apart from this a project has to be submitted which carries 100 marks. And as a part of schedule continuous evaluation is also done.
