Object Oriented Programming is very much needed for the BCA students when they will finish their course and start their new venture with any of the IT companies. Object Oriented Programming using C++ or Java is what most of the IT companies are focusing on as far as Object Orientation is concerned and if they have a prior knowledge of the same, then it will be an added advantage for them during the training period and after that. Previously the Object Oriented Programming using C++ paper used to be of 60 marks, but recently the Punjab Technical University has changed the paper pattern a bit and has allotted 75 marks for this paper in fact, for all the papers of BCA. There is one compulsory section where you need to write down 15 short questions of 2 marks. In another section you need to write 9 long questions each having a weightage of 5 marks. • Eligibility Criteria and Duration of Course :

To get admission in this course, you must have completed your 12th class.

Duration : 3 years to complete this course.

To complete this course successfully, the maximum duration is 5 years.
