B. Tech level 5th semester subject Database Management System (DBMS) is very much helpful when you will join any Software company where you need to know this subject and so computer science engineering department students must learn this subject very carefully. The question paper of Database Management System is divided into two halves, Part-A and Part-B. Part A consists of questions where you have to write short answers and Part-B is basically designed with questions which carries more mark and demands subjective descriptions. The questions are made from topics like Overview of Database Management Systems, Components of DBMS, File oriented approach versus Database oriented approach SPARC 3-level architecture, a brief overview of three traditional models, properties of relational model, relational algebra, tuple relational calculus, domain relational calculus, entity relationship model as a tool for conceptual design entities attributes and relationships, ER-diagram, converting ER-model into relational scheme, functional dependencies, multi-valued dependencies, structured qwerty language and related topics.
