Management Information Technology is a course in the M.B.A. degree. The question paper is divided into two sections. The first section contains short questions of denomination 5 marks per question while long questions in the second section contain marks of 10 or 15 which may vary from year to year. It is clearly stated in the instructions to the question paper that the answers to the short answer type questions must not exceed more than two written pages while for long answer type questions it is 5 pages. Students must therefore write precise and brief answers including all the major points. Some of the common short questions are the importance of the Chief Knowledge Officer, the role of Information Technology in management, cost-benefit analysis method etc. Long answers are from topics such as security policy principles, key factors of IT Governance and integrated information system.
