Total Quality Management is an important part of MBA course as it deals with the Quality Control within an Organization which forms an important aspect of any organization. The questions vary from one year to another and thus the course must be completed by all the students. But the pattern remains more or less same. There are 11 or 12 questions in all distributed into 2 groups. First group which is for 15 marks (need to answer three 5 marks questions) has 5 to 6 questions and second group which is for 60 marks (need to answer four questions of 15 marks) has 6 or 7 questions. The total marks are 75 in 3 hours writing time. All the questions are subjective in nature. The important questions that are asked frequently are cost of quality, types of control charts, tools controlling types of quality, applications of above. One must not ignore any portion of the course as questions can be given randomly too. One must thus be adept at the subject to do well.
