Supply Chain Management is one of the compulsory papers of MBA at TNOU. All aspiring MBA’s have to answer the paper as part of the course Operations Management. The first part of the question contains short answer type questions where students will have to write short notes on topics such as objectives of supply chain, components of a demand forecast, predictable variability which are the most common topics. It would be wise to download the question papers of the previous years and prepare these common topics thoroughly. The second part of the question paper is descriptive, containing long answer type questions. The questions are analytical and require a practical application of theory. Some of the common topics in this section are components of demand forecast, role of e-business in a supply chain and more. Questions that test the student’s planning and reasoning abilities, such as drawing framework for network design decisions, are also included in this section.
