The paper offers a maximum of sixty marks and has 3 hours as duration. There are three sections in the paper, called Section A, B and C. The first section carries 10 questions, all of which are compulsory to attempt. The second section carries 6 questions, and candidates can attempt any 4, out of 6. The third section has 3 main questions, and candidates have to answer any 2, out of 3. Questions in the first section are very short answer types, in the second section are short answer types and in the third section are long or essay answer types.
