WBUT stands for West Bengal University of Technology.  It offers engineering courses as well as business administration courses. Amongst the various subjects taught to the students of the electronics and communication branch, analog electronics is one of the most important one as it forms the base of the electronics engineering. This subject gives a deep insight into the basic structure and working of various electronic components like transistor, diode, power amplifier, differential amplifier, operational amplifier, filter and tuned amplifier etc. There are a total of 10 modules under this paper.

How Many Sections Can You Expect In This Paper?

The question paper is divided into three sections.

Paper Pattern And Number Of Questions Asked:

There are three sections in this paper. The first section consists of ten multiple choice questions .The second section consists of five questions out of which three are to be answered. The third section is similar to the second one in terms of the number of questions to be answered but these are long answer questions having a number of subparts.

Division of Marks:

The entire paper is of seventy marks. The first section consists of ten marks. The second section carries a total of fifteen marks, having questions of five marks each. The third section is the weightiest one with 45 marks in all that is each question is of fifteen marks.

How Many Hours Would You Be Given to Complete The Paper?

The entire examination has a  time duration of three hours.
