Is it advisable to shift 8th Haryana Board student to ICSE Board?


Hi Sir, my daughter is studying with Haryana Board. She is currently in 8th standard. I am thinking to shift her to ICSE Board. But, on the other side I am also thinking that her education will get affected. I need to know that is such thing can happen?

If you think that the present school is not able to provide the required education, then surely you should change the school and board. Just make sure you are taking admission in a reputed school which has a good academic record.

Also, you need to take care of your daughter's interest and the kind of subjects she is studying at present. ICSE and Haryana board are different and some students may have difficulty in adjusting to the new environment.

Yes, candidates are eligible to change their board.

Candidates passed or pursuing in 8th are eligible to change their board.

To change the board, you require various documents such as :-

Migration.

Transfer Certificate.

Marksheet.

Age Proof.

I do not think that her education will be affected due to change in the board.
