Hi everyone, I have got 57.13% in 12th GSEB Board exam but I have scored only 49% marks in PCB. Am I eligible for NEET-UG? I am little worried about it. Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

You need to have class 12th qualification with PCB stream and aggregate of 50% marks in PCB subjects. Hence, make sure you have got at least 50% marks in aggregate.

There is relaxation of 5% marks for those who belong to reserved category. Even 1% less marks will make you, not eligible.

No, I am sorry to say but you are not eligible.

For general category students, the aggregate of PCB should be 50%. For SC/ST/OBC, it is 40%.

Eligibility to appear in NEET-UG is a pass in the higher secondary examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & Mathematics or any other elective subject in class XI and XII from a recognized board with at least 50% marks for general category, 45% marks for PWD category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category. If you fulfill the above requirements, then you are eligible to appear in NEET-UG examination.

NEET is National Eligibility Entrance Test and the examination will be conducted by NTA.

The eligibility to appear in the entrance examination is that candidate mus have passed 12th in PCB and have scored minimum 50%.

So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination if you belong to the general category. There is relaxation for reserved category. For more information about examination visit at www.cbseneet.nic.in.

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test and is conducted by National Testing Agency from 2019 onward to get admission in MBBS and other medical courses.

You are not eligible to appear in the examination for admission in the course as the minimum required aggregate is 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. There is relaxation for reserved category candidates.

So, if you are from general category you cannot appear in the examination.
